DISCLAIMER - READ BEFORE YOU ORDER:

Thanks for stopping by and your support. Here's a little disclaimer to explain how to order from a DIY PUNK DISTRO for all you first timers. Please do not expect a procedure similar to Amazon or similar leeches! If you order for the first time please remember that Ruin Nation Records is a one person affair and not a company with employees.

I am running this all by myself and even with help from firends it is sometimes too much and i am not able to respond in time. I try my best to fill your orders as soon as possible but sometimes it might take 3 or 4 days longer because i am distracted with other shit that i am doing or have to do, or i am ill, or just can't be bothered. - If you think it's strange or odd you don't hear from me in a timely manner, always email and ask because i appreciate your order and support ALOT! Thanks!

IMPORTANT INFO BITS:

[1] To avoid confusion! The automatic PayPal check out is currently deactivated! You do not automatically pay the order at check out.  I will get back to you with a payment info as soon as i can. This might take 1-2 days. More if there is a weekend or bank holiday involved. Please also check your SPAM Filters for a reply. I ALWAYS contact you or write back but it seems that some emails do end up in spam filters or have other weird troubles. Especially with french servers! Feel free to email me anytime! Thank you!

[2] Important for orders to the UK: You no longer pay the VAT charge (deducted already from the price) but customs might charge a import fee/tax if your order is above a certain amount.

Actual shipping costs can be slightly higher OR lower depending on the daily rates! I will review your order and let you know the final costs for Freight and Shipping while trying to find a cheap but reliable deal!

This issue includes not only genuine E-mails but sometimes also the automatic responses from the shop-system. You can be sure that I respond to your orders or E-mail within 48 hours. If you do not hear from my by then, check your SPAM or JUNK-mail folder or get in touch with me. Thanks!

D.O.A. – Hardcore 81 LP (40th Anniversary Ltd.) LP
Zoom image

The European version of one of the most important albums in the history of the hardcore/punk.

DOA are godfathers and pioneers of the hardcore scene in Canada and notoriously known for traveling everywhere possible with their trusty and (probably. rusty) old Van. Their DIY spirit was so influential to many other young and freshly formed bands and span a whole scene in the US and also Europe because DOA continued to tour in places almost no other band did at that time. Including the "eastern block".

"Hardcore 81" is their second album in 1981. Probably the first album on which the term "hardcore" appeared. There are D.O.A. signature tracks (Fucked Up Baby, Smash The State, Slumlord etc), and the band performs in its most classic line-up: JOEY SHITHEAD, CHUCK BISCUITS, RANDY RAMPAGE and DAVE GREGG.

This record is the pearl and cornerstone of the hardcore punk scene – without it, there wouldn't be a lot of modern bands. The special edition for the 40th anniversary includes three bonus tracks from the singles: "Disco Sucks" (1978), "The Prisoner" (1978) and "Fucked Up Ronnie" (1981), and a large booklet with the history of the release of the album by vocalist Joey Shithad, and a lot of photos and flayers from this period.

AVSKUM - En Annan Värld Är Möjlig LP

Sweden’s Legendary D-Beat Band AVSKUM return with their first new album since 2008, “ En Annan Värld Ar Möjlig" ( Another World Is Possible). Their fifth album has 17 new tracks of rage filled D-beat hardcore supporting Indigenous rights, Self-determination and attacking Fascism, Militarism, Misogyny and political corruption. Avskum’s sound has it’s roots in their 1982 origins at the earliest stages of Swedish hardcore punk, with harshly screamed vocals and quick blasting songs, underlined over the ensuing decades by a rock driven heaviness with searing guitar solos, thundering bass lines and rampaging drum attack. Recorded by Kenko at Communichaos Studios, the album features guest vocals from Tompa from At The Gates / Disfear, TB from Asocial / Uncurbed and Mattis from Makabert Fynd. With two stunning cover illustrations by Jordan Barlow to hammer home their vision of empowerment and resistance
