Hi! We changed the distro-model back to it's initial state. The "Wholesale for Everyone" idea wasn't working out as i wished and the minimum order just too high for many folks. Now we have regular retail prices again and no minimum order.

 

All you regular WHOLESALE CUSTOMERS please email me before you order as i need to change your account back to Wholesale.

 

This webshop-system is very old. I tried to update the payment function but failed. I need to get this done asap. For now, you send me the order and i get back to you via email So make sure my email reaches you and not your spam filters. Thanks!

 

Ordering - Guidelines

 

 

Here's a few facts and news that you should know before you order from us. It's more or less all essential information that ensures wrong expectations or mistakes. Experience proved that it is important to know that:

       
  • Ruin Nation has been a DIY Record Label and Mail-order Distribution on a Shoestring since 1993 and still operates in a DIY Old School way. I am not ignoring technology but this shop system does not have all the fancy features as new shops have. Importantly we don't have a automated payment system attached.
  •    
  • We value an Anarchist / Strong DIY ethic and attitude before being or just sounding "Cool" and "Hip" and what not. Punk is still more than music for us!
  •    
       
  • Ruin Nation is run by one (1) Person with help from Friends here and there, therefore mentioned as "We"
  •    
       
  • We have done this for over 30 years and we love what we do and are pretty committed to it.
  •    
       
  • Sometimes it might take a while to serve your order/request.
  •    
       
  • Sometimes we are ill, on vacation or just can't be bothered.
  •    
       
  • We never ripped anyone off and won't rip you off! If it takes longer, consider the above... or just email and ask friendly and we sort it out together.
  •    
       
  • Please make sure you actually really want to order your items as it is no fun assembling and packing your order for nothing, also we sometimes have to reorder items just for you. If you run into trouble while waiting and need to cancel your order; JUST SAY SO. It's no problem, but don't let us wait and wait and wait for a reply or payment.
  •    
       
  • Postage costs include not only shipping but also your cardboard mailer, tape, extra protection if needed. I try my best to send the records to you protected and safe while keeping a green footprint.
  •    
       
  • I usually ship with DHL because they seemed the most reliable in handling and dealing with lost parcels. Upon request i can also ship with DPD, UPS or FedEX.
  •    
       
  • All shipping costs on display are only an estimated price and might vary a little bit. Actual shipping costs can be slightly higher OR lower depending on the daily rates! I will review your order and let you know the final costs for Freight and Shipping while trying to find a cheap but most secure method!
  •    
       
  • We only send out registered, insured packages. No exception!
  •    
       
  • We only have 3 DHL pick up days at the moment! Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays - This means that if you get a "shipped note" on a Tuesday, your parcel will most likely be picked up by DHL on Wednesday etc.
  •    
       
  • Please ALWAYS include your STREET ADDRESS and REAL NAME - NOT your Punk Name!
  •    
       
  • Make sure your REAL NAME is on the door-bell.
  •    
       
  • Make sure you have a door-bell (Important!)

  • To avoid confusion! The automatic PayPal checkout is currently deactivated! You do not automatically pay the order at check out.  I will get back to you with payment info as soon as I can. This might take 1-2 days. More if there is a weekend or bank holiday involved.

  • Please also check your SPAM Filters for a reply. I ALWAYS contact you or write back but it seems that some emails do end up in spam filters or have other weird troubles. Especially with French servers! Feel free to email me anytime in case you wonder what's going on with your order!

  • And again because it'S more and more an serious issue: Since quite a while now it happens that several Emails i send out end up in SPAM or JUNK-mail folders. This issue includes not only genuine Emails but sometimes also the automatic responses from the shop-system. You can be sure that I respond to your orders or E-mail within 48 hours. If you do not hear from me by then, check your SPAM or JUNK-mail folder or get in touch with me.
