COVID 19 // BREXIT // USA SHIPPING UPDATE:

Thanks for stopping by and your support. If you order for the first time please remember that Ruin Nation Records is a one person affair on a shoestring. This means i try my best to fill your orders as soon as possible but sometimes it might take 1 or 2 days longer. Patience is a virtue and i appreciate your order and support alot!

The current BREXIT as well as the ongoing COVID19 pandemic causes alot of delays especially for nonEU countries and oversea shipments. Please be aware that your order might take much longer as usual.

I also suggest to take a step up the postage if you order a single LP and your residence is overseas because there is a chance that your shipment will stuck in customs for a couple of days and you never know how they treat the parcel. To avoid damages top up the shipping if suggested in my reply email.

Important for orders to the UK: You no longer pay the VAT charge (deducted already from the price) but customs might charge a import fee/tax if your order is above a certain amount.

Important for orders to the USA: Delivery the the United States currently takes as much as three or four times longer than usual. Expect delays of 30 or 60+ days. I've been told by DHL that USPS have a 250.000 Parcel delay at the NY custom point (for all incoming foreign customs) I will work on a solution but UPS or FedEx is by far too expensive for retail mail-orders. Sorry.

Please CLICK HERE for more information about DHL international shipping and export restrictions during the Covid19 Pandemic!

The automatic PayPal check out is currently deactiviated! I will get back to you with a payment info as soon as i can. This might take 1-2 days. More if there is a weekend or bank holiday involved.

SELF ABUSE - State Of Mind 82 to 84 LP w/7
Zoom image

An essential collection from UK Punk Rockers ‘Self Abuse’ from Bournemouth, Dorset. These delinquents formed in 1982 while still teenagers, played out and released the fantastic ‘State of Mind’ demo. 1983 found them releasing the ‘Teenage Demo’ and playing loads of gigs with the likes of Subhumans, A-Heads, Cult Maniax, Screaming Dead, Cult Maniax, Butcher, A-Heads, Amebix, Admass, Organised Chaos, Madmass, Last Orders, Confession of Sin, Idiom Tribe, Shrapnel, The Samples, Screaming Dead, Shock to the System, Breakout, , Atrox, The Parasites, amongst others. In 1984 the ‘(I Didn’t Wanna Be A) Soldier’ EP was released by the Radical Change label and went to number two in the Independent charts thanks to the support of fans like the great late John Peel. Not to be ones who would sit around they recorded another fantastic demo in 1984.

Often described as a cross between Stiff Little Fingers and Chron Gen,we feel that may be a bit simplistic as they have their very own sound loaded with plenty of attitude and smarts.

This must have LP collects their awesome 84 ‘(I Didn’t Wanna Be A) Soldier’ EP, their 1984 Demo plus the sought after 1982 State Of Mind Demo. As a special bonus a 7” of an unreleased 82 demo is included.
