Excellent, violin-driven dark folk-influenced hard-core. This is their 2nd demo, and first that appears on record. They mix full energy punk with reggae, folk, melody, and fiddles. Vocals of both sexes. You can think about some comparisons, but it´s not that easy - this album is worth checking as proof that melody and punk can mix and still remain powerful and driving.

NEUROOT was active within the dutch hardcore and squatter scene between 1981 - 1987 but only released a 7" (Right is Might) and a tape album of songs, during their existence. - Furious and raging mid eighties hardcore punk at it's best! Since the last few years, the band occasionally plays assorted gigs here and there and now also decided to record a album worth of new songs in 2017. Their new sound is a bit slower, a bit more melodical and coming of age but none the less a solid and raging punk album with alot of heart and guts and all at the right place.
