DISCLAIMER - READ BEFORE YOU ORDER:

Thanks for stopping by and your support. Here's a little disclaimer to explain how to order from a DIY PUNK DISTRO for all you first timers. Please do not expect a procedure similar to Amazon or similar leeches! If you order for the first time please remember that Ruin Nation Records is a one person affair and not a company with employees.

I am running this all by myself and even with help from firends it is sometimes too much and i am not able to respond in time. I try my best to fill your orders as soon as possible but sometimes it might take 3 or 4 days longer because i am distracted with other shit that i am doing or have to do, or i am ill, or just can't be bothered. - If you think it's strange or odd you don't hear from me in a timely manner, always email and ask because i appreciate your order and support ALOT! Thanks!

IMPORTANT INFO BITS:

[1] To avoid confusion! The automatic PayPal check out is currently deactivated! You do not automatically pay the order at check out.  I will get back to you with a payment info as soon as i can. This might take 1-2 days. More if there is a weekend or bank holiday involved. Please also check your SPAM Filters for a reply. I ALWAYS contact you or write back but it seems that some emails do end up in spam filters or have other weird troubles. Especially with french servers! Feel free to email me anytime! Thank you!

[2] Important for orders to the UK: You no longer pay the VAT charge (deducted already from the price) but customs might charge a import fee/tax if your order is above a certain amount.

Actual shipping costs can be slightly higher OR lower depending on the daily rates! I will review your order and let you know the final costs for Freight and Shipping while trying to find a cheap but reliable deal!

[4] Since quite a while now it happens that several E-mails i send out end up in SPAM or JUNK-mail folders. This issue includes not only genuine E-mails but sometimes also the automatic responses from the shop-system. You can be sure that I respond to your orders or E-mail within 48 hours. If you do not hear from my by then, check your SPAM or JUNK-mail folder or get in touch with me. Thanks!

FLOWER - Heel of The Next / Physical God 7

Two new tracks as a co release between Peace Of Mind ( Band Label ) and FFYM. Comes in a Crass 6 panel type fold out poster cover with more artwork by Willow, paying once again tribute to Nick Blinko.

FLOWER play powerfull anarcho-crustpunk and musically these two tracks thrive once again in the NAUSEA meets early SACRILEGE partition. Similar to their 2022 album "Hardly A Dream" and thats nothing bad because their album was f**king great! A Euro tour next year and i can't wait to see them Live.

Ps: Artwork Image follows soon(ish)

SLUMGANG - Fermented LP (US Import)

SLUMGANG - Fermented LP (US Import)

If you have been around in the early nineties you might have come across these guys at some squat or festival . The UK hadquite some interesting new breed of punk rock coming out of the basements... NERVES, SUBSTANDARD, NEWTOWN GRUNTS, SLUMGANG or DOG ON A ROPE. - SLUMGANG features Ex-members of Concrete Sox / Default / Mortal Terror / Downfall and many more playing catchy melodic punk. The early 90’s were a great time in Nottingham with a healthy punk scene and Slumgang being one of the guiding lights.

This LP features the 3 tracks from their 1994 single with 7 more songs that only saw the light of day on cassette. About goddamn time!!

TROPICAL NIGHTMARE - Demo II & Demo III 12

TROPICAL NIGHTMARE - Demo II & Demo III 12"

Punk Vortex proudly presents Tropical Nightmare vinyl debut. Tropical Nightmare is a London based band that has been around for a while with a good number of live appearances and 3 demo tapes under their studded belts. On this release we have the songs from the second and third demos now finally available on vinyl. The band follows no trends and delivers their unique Brazilian flavoured kind of psychodelic hardcore punk loud, proud, distorted, with loads of feedback and weird tempos. Tropical Nightmare is a fresh breeze of creativity among a universe of copies and repetition. The artwork is a conceptual masterpiece by Carlos Casotti who managed to magnificently capture the essence of TN's music and turn it into iconic images. Go check them out if they play in a town near you. They are currently looking for more gigs and working on new material for a full length album.

EGO - Egoism LP

EGO - Egoism LP

The physical version of Ego-ism is billed as a demo on their band’s Bandcamp page, but with ten very lengthy tracks, Ego-ism is longer and more ambitious than most current punk and hardcore bands’ full-lengths. The sound is gruff and heavy (particularly the vocals, which are growling and intense), but the music is adventurous, working in elements of shoegaze and darkwave around the edges. Take the track “Dekadent,” which borrows moves from Bauhaus and Skeletal Family, but then Ego snaps right back into d-beat with “Ljudi.” Hailing from Berlin and featuring Nesha from Doomsday Graphics on vocals this will be remembered as one of the few good things that happened during the pandemic.
