Please do not expect a procedure similar to Amazon or similar leeches! If you order for the first time please remember that Ruin Nation Records is a one person affair on a shoestring.

This basically means that i am running this all by myself and even with help from firends it is sometimes too much and i am not able to respond in time. I try my best to fill your orders as soon as possible but sometimes it might take 3 or 4 days longer because i am distracted with other shit that i am doing or have to do, or i am ill, or just can't be bothered. - If you think it's strange or odd you don't hear from me in a timely manner, always email and ask because i appreciate your order and support ALOT! Thanks!

Important for orders to the UK: You no longer pay the VAT charge (deducted already from the price) but customs might charge a import fee/tax if your order is above a certain amount.

Important for orders to the USA/Japan/Australia and beyond: Apparently deliveries to the Oversea countries still expect delays of 30+ days due to custom and transport issues caused by the Covid 19 pandemic. You will recieve a tracking code. - Again, please keep in mind that your shipment can be in transit for much longer as usual. Please ensure you have a change of address order in case you move houses!

Some countries are still restricted or limited for shipments from Germany. Please CLICK HERE for more information about DHL international shipping and export restrictions during the Covid19 Pandemic!

IMPORTANT NOTICE! - To avoid confusion! The automatic PayPal check out is currently deactivated! You do not automatically pay the order at check out.  I will get back to you with a payment info as soon as i can. This might take 1-2 days. More if there is a weekend or bank holiday involved. Please also check your SPAM Filters for a reply. I ALWAYS contact you or write back but it seems that some emails do end up in spam filters or have other weird troubles. Especially with french servers! Feel free to email me anytime! Thank you!

ÖTZI - Gong Show 7" (IMPORT)

LWR001

ÖTZI - Gong Show 7
Zoom image

This Oakland trio puts forth a powerful goth/post-punk sound that listens like a guiding light in a dark dream. "gong show" is the slightly more fuzzy and upbeat of the 2, while "sunbeam" is a more morose reliving of bad memories. Both songs are well-crafted, with the two main vocalists trading off and interweaving their distinctive voices with each other and the rest of the music in majestic and captivating ways. "juju"-era SIOUXIE AND THE BANSHEES, along with elements of the CHAMELEONS, are decent starting points, but these songs are truly ÖTZI's own creations.

A . Gong Show
B . Sunbeam

Jalang (formerly Lái) play fast-paced and danceable D-beat punk, propelling the band’s ferocious vocals into the face of the listener. Vocalist Alda’s lyrics are delivered in Bahasa Indonesia and English, engaging with both her own and collective narratives that explore politics, religion, feminism and queer rights in South East Asia, and the diaspora in so-called Australia. Timmy (Extinct Exist, Pisschrist, Schifosi) on guitar and Tessa (Ubik, Masses) on bass were joined by Kyle (Sheer Mag) on drums in 2021.

HEAVY METAL - Smash Criticism Smash Optimism Smash Arachnophobia LP

Heavy Metal return from their punker bunker with LP number two and it’s equally as stunning. Again it’s all over the place musically with a common thread of needle in the red whatever style they are destroying. It starts with an ecstasy drenched lo-fi distorted disco number that oozes sex appeal for the Heavy Metal massive before moving onto ‘Blue Suede Shoe’ which sounds like a classic dirty 1979 DIY hit with a masterful hook that demands repeated plays ...

LÁI 来 - Pontianak LPcol.+MP3 (Ltd. Blue Vinyl)

Second Press Edition of 300 Copies in Blue Vinyl (Limited 300) - Lái 来 forged an absolute menacing fusion of raging swedish d-beat and manic old school hardcore punk. Imagine G.L.O.S.S. on a rampage with TOTALITÄR. Based in Melbourne, Australia the Band is made up by members of the mighty Pisschrist, UBIK, Masses, Ritual Blood and ExtinctExist. With lyrics sung in Bahasa Indonesian as well as English, Lái explore politics, religion, feminism and queer rights in South East Asia and the diaspora. The name of the band is taken from a Chinese Mandarin phrase meaning 'to come/next.' and Lái invoke these diasporic identities and themes through punk, mixing ideas and personal experiences that often inter-connect but also continue to conflict in the world around us.
