Thanks for stopping by and your support. If you order for the first time please remember that Ruin Nation Records is a one person affair on a shoestring. This means i try my best to fill your orders as soon as possible but sometimes it might take 1 or 2 days longer. Patience is a virtue and i appreciate your order and support alot!

The current BREXIT as well as the ongoing COVID19 pandemic causes alot of delays especially for nonEU countries and oversea shipments. Please be aware that your order might take much longer as usual.

I also suggest to take a step up the postage if you order a single LP and your residence is overseas because there is a chance that your shipment will stuck in customs for a couple of days and you never know how they treat the parcel. To avoid damages top up the shipping if suggested in my reply email.

Important for orders to the UK: You no longer pay the VAT charge (deducted already from the price) but customs might charge a import fee/tax if your order is above a certain amount.

Important for orders to the USA: Delivery the the United States currently takes as much as three or four times longer than usual. Expect delays of 30 or 60+ days. I've been told by DHL that USPS have a 250.000 Parcel delay at the NY custom point (for all incoming foreign customs) I will work on a solution but UPS or FedEx is by far too expensive for retail mail-orders. Sorry.

Please CLICK HERE for more information about DHL international shipping and export restrictions during the Covid19 Pandemic!

The automatic PayPal check out is currently deactiviated! I will get back to you with a payment info as soon as i can. This might take 1-2 days. More if there is a weekend or bank holiday involved.

Spain's ALTARAGE return with their highly anticipated debut album, NIHL. Much like labelmates HIC IACET and SACRIFICIO, the mysterious ALTARAGE hail from Spain and are a conjuration of musicians with veteran status in the metal underground. The band's opening MMXV assault was a quick 'n' consuming blast of blown-out bestial grind and juddering, volcanic down-tempo surges. However, the record was a mere two songs, and only suggested the synapse-destroying mastery to come. With NIHL, ALTARAGE have created an even wider world-eating vortex that rips asunder the fibers of blackened death metal - and the listener's own comfort levels. The sound across NIHL is absolutely MASSIVE - every guitar tone rich with destruction, every drum hit the echo of war, the vocals once again less like anything emanating from a human and more the sound of a derelict factory's soul being torn apart - which then sets the stage for a full-scale sonic meltdown. Undeniably, the basis of ALTARAGE is firmly within death metal, but the band dutifully strive for the most alien hinterlands of the imagination, where riffs sound less like "riffs" and more like the mangled language of a lifeform both a millennium into the future and the past. Even the song titles themselves suggest as much (among them: "Batherex," "Graehence," "Drevicet," and the telltale "Womborous"), and the cold 'n' calculated, martial 'n' militant manner in which ALTARAGE play likewise suggests life far, far removed from the "human." Taken together, the totality of NIHL is a landscape unto itself, and the work of titanic death metal deviance.

“What Altarage has done is take death metal to a horrendously cacophonous new height. Rich guitar tones, echoing drums, bass chugs for the sanest of people to lose their minds to, grinding vocals, and symphonic blasts of refined disfigurement and ruination make me want a count of how many strings, sticks, and cough drops this band had to replace and/or use to tap into this vein of death metal. It’s as raging and downright demonic as the banshee-esque being on the cover, calling you to fall into the perception of death, become a wraith of self-doubt, and become a creature of Nihl.”
CVLT NATION — Best Death Metal album 2016

“Now, this is some serious shit to speak about. Altarage are as real as they get, though there’s no way to decipher who in the hell they are. They could be an entirely new band in the excellent Spaniard extreme scene. Either way, they could be some kind of supergroup we don’t have the way to know about as well.”

After numerous live gigs, more and more attention in the European undergound scenes and the release of their debut 12“ „Wrong Time Wrong Place“ via US-based anarcho punk label Mass Media Rec., TOTENWALD found their final line-up. New addition sax player Ruby makes TOTENWALD a 4-piece now and she definitely adds to the 80s post-punk & anarcho vibe of the band with her instrument drawing references to bands such as SKELETAL FAMILY or X-RAY SPEX.
