Wind in his hair is a melodic crust/hardcore punk band with members of THRAENENKIND. The bandname refers to a first nation chief called "Wind in his hair" from the movie "Dances with wolves". The name was chosen to show solidarity with indigenous peoples and their struggles without exploiting native identity in any form. The lyrics are all about nature, indigenous cultures, anarchism and love and respect for Mother Earth. All members are vegans (some straight edge) and support the ideas of rewilding and the concepts of sustainability.
