From Ashes Rise are in the same vein as His Hero Is Gone and Tragedy, and anyone who likes those bands will be blown away by the awesome assault of these smoldering hardcore songs. The sound is powerful and harsh, but with a very good sense of hidden melody and catchy riffs & it is even more brutal & "melodic", but also more complex than their earlier stuff. Fantastic.
