Hey there - website being updated once again with loads of news and restocks! I'm currently working on three fronts to get:

1. The old pages sorted out and the data base cleared.
2. The new shop finally to open
3. Build a new BLOG that fits withthe new webshop

This is all very time and energy consuming and if your orders take 1 or 2 days longer to process please don't be pissed off. Normal service will resume shortly and feel free to hassle me with emails whenever you feel like you wait too long.

Also the IN STOCK statements are a bit messy since i try to find out what, where, how is actually available from our suppliers, so i can track down titles that are sold out or just on backorder... apologies if sometimes things say they are available but actually are not. Ruin Nation is a DIY shoestring operation and more passion and love than a professional service...

... and last and least, PRICES have gone up slightly, or at least will go up in the future! - I tried as much as i could to keep prices as close as possible to the DIY distro not for profit status quo ... but i fear i simply cannot continiue like i did for the past 19 years... the recent events (Basement Flood) ask for drastic changes in my price policies... sorry about that. It's not much i have to put on top but prices will probably change around 0.50 cent on top of old prices... sometimes less sometimes more... we'll see. Thanks for your on going support.

Sorry if it took so long again (especially for those with a subscribtion) ... i dunno why it takes so long and as said... many apologies. A bit late again but still busy times here in order of recovering from the dramas of the last year and it's hard to squeeze enough distro time out of my shedule every day. Anyway...theres a hell lot of cool new titles available... scroll down for the news and theres also a ton of restocks on the way. Remember, these titels are not for trade. Also, in case you request a trade with SKULD RELEASES it makes no sense to trade with me separately since SKULD and RUIN NATION share the Wholesale and Mailorder duties, so all titles end up in the mailorder anyway (when available). Also SKULD is authorised to trade with RUIN NATION titles...

Hey ho... - slowly but surely we make it. The new distro space is almost complete and hopefully i will beable to be back in action within this weekend. I thought it gonna be a bit of an easier mission but taking care of moving twice (private and label/distro) was a bit too much to chew. MANY APOLOGIES TO ALL WHO WAITED FOR THE ORDER LONGER AS USUAL AND THOSE WHO STILL WAIT! THERE WILL BE EXTRA FREE VINYL FOR YOU AS A LITTLE GIFT!

Within the end of next week i will for sure have all shelves set up and parcels should be shipped without anymore delays. Hello there,... we are moving the distro this week to a new (hopefully much safer) space and order processing will be slow... in fact very slow. Same for updates but theres a hell lot of new releases unpacked at the new place... loads of new PROFANE EXISTENCE and ACTIVE REBELLION as well as ACTIVE DISTRIBUTION stuff.

I try to update everything here asap. And fell free to email orders as many as you want since we still need funds since the last miserys (see ARCHIVE) and circumstances. I try to hurry up with shifting the boxes to the new place and hope to have everything back running as normal (hopefully) by the end of this month.

How do everyone? - I am back in Bremen and CSE had a blast on the east coast (and Canada) with much thanks to all the nice folks who made it happen. Especially Greg Daly, Jason (Driver) and Dave. Miss you loads!

Not sure if everyone knows yet but some sad losers broke into our basement while i was on tour and opened all water pipes!
For approx 3 days the basement flooded with water up until 30cm from the ground. This caused a massive damage since all my label releases and inserts are stored at this place. I am still not 100% sure but of what i can see the damage reached approx. 500 LPs, 350 7"s plus almost all the inserts for the upcoming MAKILADORAS LP... round about 3000 EUR damage... maybe a bit less.

I will post a full report on the BLOG soon. Meanwhile i try to concentrate on the Mailorder and posting out orders asap. Apologies if i am a bit slow! it has been a bit too much here on several fronts.

RUIN NATION IS MOVING! ::: During October i gonna move myself and the distro to a new place, cheaper rent and hopefully better in general (not in the 4th floor, no way!) so if things seem to be a bit woobly... i try to keep going as usual, hence i have no idea how to solve the water damage (see above)

Howdo, - so, finally orders are shipped out without the SJU SVÅRA ÅR and BATB / ICONS OF EVIL LPs - I am really sorry for the hassle but combinated with our computer troubles here its all a nightmare to handle orders as usual.

NEW WEBSHOP ENGINE - I´ve been feed up with this dependence of the computer and it´s programms in order to update the website content and order handling. Therefor i will work with all force possible to get a new WEBSHOP ENGINE running that is based on todays standards (sic). Stockcontrols and automatic email processing. Couriosity is my undying partner and i found a distro dwarf that will help me editing and speed up the process a bit. Hello there, here´s a quick info update on things that happened here recently and cause alot of delays, stomach and headaches.

My computer gave up almost 2 weeks ago and i am still struggling getting an alternate system running on a borrowed G4 Apple. Due the fact that i used a G5 Power Mac i have not too many (and too cheap) options at the moment to get things sorted out. I bear with the amount of work as much and as fast as i can, but please be patient. I won't forget anyone to reply as soon as possible.

The SJU SVÅRA ÅR (LP) still didn´t arrive here nor do i get any information from the Label if it has been send out (as promised) or not... i will wait until Monday before i send out open orders... with or without SJU SVÅRA ÅR (LP) in the latter case i am truely sorry. I will include some nice extra free stuff for the long delay. promise.

There will be a SERVER CHANGE over the weekend. Normally during nightime (CET) and for no longer than 4 hours. Hopefully everything will workas usual after that. If there´s any bugs, please email.

Hey, in case you might wonder why it takes so long for your order. I still have seriously troubles with my computer and use a stoneaged laptop at the moment to pick mails from the server and try to navigate through the orders (etc.) There is still hope my computer ain't dead yet but it might take a few more days to sort out what the problem is.

Hey everyone - In case some of you wonder why they still wait for a email reply i gonna try to explain some unfortunate events that happen here recently. But before that, all of you who are waiting for an EMAIL or FEEDBACK in general, i get back to you as soon i have things sorted. Please be patience.

[1.] After a nice weekend at the PUNK ILLEGAL 2011 and some days off with my friend(s) in Göteborg i am facing some serious trouble with my Computer and the bloody thing is not starting at all. Being 100% dependend on this to access emails, data, catalogues and invoices you can tell i´m pretty much in panic.
I have a backup on a external drive, so data is safe, BUT i need the computer AND the access to my email programm in order to reply to you and prepare the shipments. - As of now, i am still working at it and i hope i find out what the problem is asap. I also hope it ain't too bad since i can't afford buying a new computer so easy. [2.] I got a nasty letter/invoice from the GEMA (German/International Coypright Control) that ZOUNDS sold their publishing rights back in the day to Cherry Red and Cooking Vinyl who both are now claiming License Fees of a mere of EURO 1200.00 - This was not part of the agreement with the Band and even after asking the people involved if everything is "ok" and "easy" they did not inform me about that.

All in all this means i gonna loose alot of money now, epsecially when i was in progress of (finally) giving the ok to the MAKILADORAS 12" it looks now like i have to come up with a new Master Plan to cope with all this.

This all knocks me a bit out, to be honest... financially it doesn´t look to bright anyway and i also have to come up with private money to pay the flight for the Cross Stitched Eyes - East Coast Tour as well as surviving here on the home front.

HELP! I had to raise some prices and apologise for it in advance. You can really help if you order loads and encourage your friends maybe as well to order. I still have second hand vinyl at the RUIN NATION DISCOGS SHOP and will fill it up more within the next days.

Heyo - As you probably already read elsewhere CROSS STITCHED EYES had to cancel their East Coast/Canada Tour for May 2011 and postpone it to September! This time for real. Check out the BLOG section to stay in touch about excact times and dates.

Loads of new Vinyl in as well. In some cases it was really hard to calculate the price due the fact that alot of Labels seem to increase their wholesale prices alot! Hence the fact that my operation here is official registered and taxable (due size, value and germanism...duh!), it became really really tough shit staying close to my philosophy or ethics of the DIY Anarchist Distribution Network that i´m part of a mere of 18 years now. I still do not consider this label and distribution as a source for profit and still believe that punk/hardcore/crust should be an alternative to the profit orientated mainstream culture. This is why prices are calculated as cheap as possible and maybe attractive enough for you to check out and hopefully get inspired, happy and content.

Anyways, theres still 2 new releases teamed up for an as soon as possible release date. MAKILADORAS 12" and JUGGLING JUGULARS "80 Billion Barrels" 12" are almost ready, check out the website for release dates. New AUTONOMADS and VICIOUS IRENE releases are in the dream bubble as well as getting many many more Books in so you can spend (hopefully) many hours at the lakeside, reading and plan how to step outof the "Q".

Hello there - just a quick message about the current state of me vs. Ruin Nations amount of Emails and work force. I am out of the office a few days within the week (s) which means i am kind of slower than normal when it comes to answer your emails and orders. I try to cope with it within 3 days but in case you have to wait a bit longer, be patience. I will not forget you by any means.

I have alot of work in process. A new webshop is coming up soon where you can now finally create an account to track orders and the items are listed as they are available (or not) and the payment and whole order status is much faster as before.

Hey Kids, so here we are now in the 18th Year of RUIN NATION and once again the German Post dis-service makes live uneasy and changed some of their foreign rates that might get into use along this month. - some are cheaper, some are more expensive... in the end we loose... as usual. ;o)

There is no more unregistred/insecured foreign shipping available!

Why?!? - Theres always a slight and rare chance that Parcels can get lost or stolen and whilst using the service of Paypal i have to guarantee your order arrives actually at your door. I can´t affort to pay back for lost orders anymore just because people chose unregistred shipping.

I know this sucks alot but isn´t avoidable anymore...
