Cross Stiched Eyes have very quickly made a name for themselves in the underground crust/punk scene, and with good fucking reason! This CD compiles their raging debut EP "I", unreleased demo tracks and outtakes, and five new crusty ragers sure to bring to mind progenitors Rudimentary Peni and Amebix!! The three members respectively hail from Germany, the U$, and U.K., and collectively play some of the gloomiest music this side of the pending apocalypse! Hot on the heels of their debut EP is this CD release, which include said EP (entitled "I " of course) as well as some demo tracks and additional studio recordings. An international three piece consisting of members from the US, Germany and England, CROSS STITCHED EYES pays obvious homage to gloomy UK punk bands of yore like RUDIMENTARY PENI and AMEBIX (especially in the vocals) without sounding overly contrived. With a solid foundation of heavy, pounding drums, dark, driving riffage, and an overall evil/scary ambience, the disc also includes some interesting moments of melody, gothicness, weird vocal and guitar effects, and straight-up punk rock (...) Like the music itself, the high-quality artwork and packaging has a personality of it´s own while retaining the style of this genre. ( Maximum Rocknroll 297 )

This CD comes in a Beautiful heavy panel cardboard ecobox sleeve and includes a poster. This is a split release with ACTIVE DISTRIBUTION.

CROSS STITCHED EYES - Decomposition LP

Cross Stitched Eyes' deep and abstract sounds are works of pummeling sonics. Following in the tradition of anarchist punk and death rock (Rudimentary Peni, Cortex, and Killing Joke), the album's noises embrace the many irrational and visceral shades of music's darkest corners.
